Organ Assist is a specialist company, established in Groningen, The Netherlands.
Our field : medical equipment that improves the procurement and preservation processes of donor organs. Our aim : developing and producing reliable systems that preserve organ quality over a longer period of time, thus improving the success rate of the transplantation procedure. |
Organ Assist has a complete range of preservation devices for almost every donor organ. The innovative Extra-Corporal Organ Procurement System (ECOPS) is designed for the In Situ perfusion of the donor body. The Kidney Assist is our transportable organ preservation system for donor kidneys. The oxygenated, hypothermic and pulsatile perfusion provides the opportunity to keep the donor kidney in a better condition in order to improve the results of transplant. |
The Liver Assist is our
dedicated machine for Ex-vivo liver perfusion. This novel
device is able to perfuse the artery and vein with different settings
and characteristics (pulse/ continuous/ pressure/ temperature). All our devices
are CE marked. |

"Time is an essential factor
in every organ transplantation procedure.
Our systems slow down the
deterioration process during organ procurement and transportation,
thus automatically improving
preconditions for the surgeon and the patient."
