Organ Assist devices successfully used during DCD workshop
4th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP DONATION AFTER CARDIAC DEATH DONORS

We were invited to support the DCD hands-on workshop, with our full product range. During the workshop the Donor Assist was used to allow for normothermic region perfusion (NRP) during organ retrieval. Afterwards our Lung Assist, Kidney Assist-transport and Liver Assist were used to allow participants to get acquainted with machine perfusion in general. They learned how to use the devices and how to connect the organs to allow for optimal perfusion.
The workshop was attended by approximately 45 health care professionals and their feedback was extremely positive!
